The idea is to improve reading in order to achieve a good pupils' self
steam. Children feel better and better as they go up through the steps of the
lecture learning. Children start identifying the initial of their names, then
they are able to read their names, then a short story and they advance until
they are able to travel inside a book. Furthermore, if they are able to read
and to understand in other tongues, that will allow them to interact with
people from other countries.
To know, to respect and to love the linguistic and cultural diversity of Europe are some of the main objectives of the project.
The main tools of this project are some innovative tools, like digital white boards and notebooks; the associated schools’ ideas; and the active participation of pupils and their families.
In short, this project wants, in one hand, to transmit the importance of reading as a written communicative tool between European communities with a view to an active labour future and from the other hand to enrich teachers’ knowledge with this mixture of cultures with a view to improve the educative task in the diversity than we can find in our classrooms nowadays.
